Independent Verification Service

LicenseCheck is a specialist petroleum verification service operated by the Fuel Wholesalers Association (Pty) Ltd under license. Verification is performed separately from the counterparty being assessed. LicenseCheck is not the Department of Mineral and Petroleum Resources, NERSA, ITAC, CIPC or any other government department, regulator or licensing authority.

LicenseCheck does not issue, renew, approve, amend or guarantee petroleum licenses, permits, registrations or regulatory approvals.

Scope of Verification

Any verification result is limited to the specific scope requested, the information supplied or identified for review, and the evidence reasonably available at the time the verification is performed.

A verification may confirm certain information while other matters remain outside scope or unable to be independently verified. The verification outcome and any stated limitations should be read as a whole.

No Guarantee or Endorsement

A LicenseCheck verification, report, reference or Verified Supplier Badge does not constitute a guarantee or permanent endorsement of a supplier, company, license, depot, product, transaction or commercial relationship.

Verification cannot guarantee future conduct, solvency, product quality, performance, regulatory compliance or the continued validity of information after the verification date.

Third-Party Information

LicenseCheck may rely on official records, regulatory systems, source documents and information supplied by clients, suppliers or other third parties. Such information may be incomplete, delayed, unavailable or subsequently changed. LicenseCheck takes reasonable steps within the agreed scope but cannot control third-party records or systems.
